Deleting your ComicBox account
You can delete your ComicBox account and the personal data linked to it at any time. This page explains how, including for users who can no longer sign in.
If you can sign in
- Open ComicBox and go to Settings → Account.
- Select Delete account.
- Confirm the deletion.
Your account is deleted immediately and you are signed out on all devices. The same option is available in the web app at comicbox.app/settings/account.
If you cannot sign in
If you have lost access to your account, email support@comicbox.app from the address linked to your account and ask us to delete it. We may ask you to confirm ownership before we proceed.
Removing data without deleting your account
You do not have to delete your account to remove data:
- Remove individual items from your collection or wishlist at any time in the app.
- To request removal of other specific data, email support@comicbox.app. We may ask you to confirm ownership first.
What gets deleted
When your account is deleted, we remove:
- Your account and login credentials
- Your collection and wishlist data
- Cover images you uploaded for visual search
- Feedback and support information tied to your account
Data we may keep
We may retain limited records where the law requires it, such as billing and tax records for completed purchases. These are kept only as long as legally required and are not used for any other purpose. Data held in encrypted backups is removed on our regular backup rotation, within 30 days.
